Chantelle Delaney
Biography
At just 23 years of age Chantelle Delaney has already made an impact on the entertainment scene. Singing and performing since she was six, Chantelle has an amazing voice, plays mean guitar, a great stage presence and magnetic good looks.

Chantelle has many outstanding achievements to her name. In 2001, at the age of 17 Chantelle was awarded an "Order of Australia" medal for Outstanding achievement in Music and for her contribution to the Australian music industry. This award came following many excursions to the most remote parts of Australia as a member of a team teaching and promoting music to children.

Through her ability Chantelle has had the opportunity to perform alongside some of Australia's top entertainers including Jimmy Barnes, Slim Dusty, John Paul Young, Kasey Chambers, Thirsty Merc and John Farnham. Chantelle has performed at major events and made numerous TV and Radio appearances throughout Australia.

Some of Chantelle's achievements include performing at: Channel 7 "Lord Mayors Christmas Carols" 3 years in a row, she has made numerous appearances on Channel 10’s “Good Morning Australia” hosted by Bert Newton, performed on Channel 9’s “Middays” with Kerri-Ann Kennerly, and the “Today” show on Channel 9. Chantelle also appeared on the ABC TV documentary "Doesn't everyone want a Golden Guitar" at the age of 10. As well as a guest presenter on Queensland's travel show "The Great South East".

Just a few months ago, Chantelle performed the national anthem in front of 100,000 people, televised to over 100 different countries at the Wallabies Vs South Africa Rugby Union match, at Sydney's Homebush Stadium. In 2006 she also performed the National Anthem at the Gold Coast 'Lemark Indy 300', again getting a lot of publicity and which saw Chantelle again heard by millions of people around the world.

Chantelle has also been making regular appearances singing and performing on "Kids WB", a Saturday morning, kids TV show on Channel 9.

Chantelle has trained through the Trinity College of London in both singing and drama, did a TV presenting course, through the Victorian College of Arts and through the Television of Australia and Film Academy, and at The Royal Academy of Dance in Jazz, Tap and Ballet with Margot Fantayn.

Chantelle has performed at many high profile shows including, the Channel 7 Fun Day in the Park (as a host and performer), Starry Starry Night (Crown Palladium, Melb), MTV Make Poverty History Gig, The QLD Day dinner awards, sang the National Anthem at Rugby League /Union matches at the ANZ stadium (Qld), Olympic Park stadium (VIC), Homebush Stadium (NSW), The Spring Racing Carnival in VIC (was also the face of Country Racing Victoria) and The Indy at the Gold Coast, and she represented Australia at the Norfolk Island Music Festival.
